sophie

Sophie and her four siblings were born in my backyard in our woodpile. We’d been feeding their mom, a feral cat we named Buttercup, for about a year and we discovered her gorgeous kittens when they were about three weeks old! They are the sweetest things ever, and we are trying to find them all good homes.

Whatta Party!

Monday 23 October 2006 @ 6:10 pm
Mini: I think I ate too much at Derby’s Party.
Boni: I’m pretty sure you did.
Mini: Let me rest a minute, and I’ll go back for more. hehehe
Boni: You’re hopeless, Mini.
Mini: Naw, I’m cute.

If you didn’t eat too much at Derby’s Party, head over to the Carnival of the Cats this evening. Oh heck, head over even if you did. heheheh

Boni Maroni is not as skinny as macaroni

Cat Recipe: BEEF AND VEGGIE BROTH

Friday 20 October 2006 @ 12:06 pm

Yee need:

cat-picture

1/2 cup raw trimmed beef
A few tablespoons of beef broth (Preferably not the canned or cubed variety)
2 tablespoons cooked oatmeal
1 tablespoon dried barley grass powder (Find at a pet food store)
1 cooked minced veggie (Your cat’s favorite - Carrots are often a favorite)

Cook raw trimmed beef in just enough broth to cover, over medium to low heat. When beef is cooked thru shred with fork and mix with the broth in which it was cooked. Add the minced veggie and the barley grass powder. Stir well. Last add the oatmeal to achieve the consistency that your cat likes. This is a good cat food recipe for indoor pets

Hope your cat likes it!

Visit with Mistrie

Friday 20 October 2006 @ 9:10 am
When I visited Mistrie a few days ago, she showed me all her warm beds for winter. This is us by one of them. When Mistrie comes to visit, I’ll have to show her where we moved all our stuff. Our igloo and food cover thingy are on the back deck now, safe from woofies. And we’ve got nice fuzzy towels in our igloo. And Mom’s gonna put back the reflector blanky thingie now that it’s getting chilly again. Mistrie can come ofur and have a nap pile with me and Pepi in the igloo if she wants! It’s always lots of fun visiting with Mistrie.
Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs,
Gree
